Expression of interest in participating in training seminars

Programme description

The Centre for Research for Gender Equality (KETHI), a Legal Entity under Private Law of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (General Government Body), in the framework of the Programme "Interventions for the elimination of violence and harassment in Private and Public Sector Institutions and Enterprises", which implemented with funding from the operational programme "Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning" (2014-2020), organizes training seminars for the private and public sector  managers and employees.

The main purpose of these actions is to provide knowledge and correct information in order to prevent, report and deal effectively with harassing behaviour in the work environment. The attendance of these training seminars is in full compliance with the obligations arising from the current institutional framework (Law 4808/2021) for employer bodies.

In detail, the training actions are aimed at the following:

  • Providing employers and managers with information on the phenomenon of sexual harassment and violence in the world of work.
  • Developing the skills of managers of public and private bodies to prevent and combat sexual harassment in the workplace.
  • Supporting institutions to fulfil the obligations of Law 4808/2021 and to develop relevant policies.

The training is provided for free, takes place online and lasts eight (8) hours. It is scheduled to begin in March 2023. Upon completion of the training, a certificate will be issued by the KETHI of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

Please note that places are limited and the selection of participants will take into account the employing organization, in order to ensure the participation of people from as many organizations as possible.
